On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, a Gala Evening of our faculty was held in the Bethlehem Chapel on the occasion of awarding the highest distinction granted for contributions to the development of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences of CTU in Prague – the Gerstner Medal.
The festive evening was opened by Duo Professores, formed by Dean Ondřej Přibyl and Vice‑Dean Miroslav Svítko. Afterwards, the distinguished honorees received their awards, and Ondřej Přibyl symbolically passed the leadership of the faculty into the hands of his successor, Stanislav Novotný. The official part of the evening concluded with a concert by the prestigious Zemlinsky Quartet.
