With great respect and joy, we commemorate the significant life anniversary of Professor Dunovský, who is celebrating his remarkable 90th birthday these days. Professor Dunovský was among the founding figures of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, where he served, among other roles, as Vice-Dean and Head of the Department of Vehicle Technology.
Throughout his long academic career, he made a substantial contribution to the development of teaching, research activities, and cooperation between the faculty and industrial practice. One of the important milestones of his work is the establishment of the Aviation School within the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, which focuses not only on the operation and management of air transport, but also on the organization of theoretical and practical pilot training.
On the occasion of his distinguished anniversary, Professor Dunovský was personally congratulated by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Stanislav Novotný, and the Head of the Department of Vehicle Technology, Associate Professor Petr Bouchner. On behalf of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, we join in extending our best wishes, above all for good health, personal well-being, and joy in the years to come. At the same time, we express our sincere thanks for his many years of dedicated work, his professional contribution, and the inspiration he has passed on to numerous generations of students and colleagues.
