Abstract:

Smart Cities and modern urban agglomerations are places where most of today''s population lives and works. The security and safety of these urban entities and their resilience to current threats is fundamental to their functioning and is a great resource for scientific investigation. Students in the project will work on issues related to increasing the resilience of urban agglomerations to the threats posed by today''s world and society. Together with the project leader, you will define the threats and look for technical and organizational measures and solutions, including legislation that addresses this issue. The outputs of the project will be applied in cooperation with the security department of the Ministry of Transport and the Railway Infrastructure Administration.
