About us

The Department of Science and Research has the mission of pursuing excellence and supporting doctoral education, research and advanced technology development in the field of transportation sciences.

The Faculty of Transportation Sciences has acquired strong reputation in basic and applied scientific research during the past years through the valuable contribution of our academic staff in national and international peer-reviewed publications, projects and conferences.

The Department of Science and Research keeps strengthening our extensive scientific research network in the Czech Republic and internationally. Every year we develop new research projects within the framework of national and European grants. We are usually opened and keen to cooperate with new partners in new initiatives through interdisciplinary approach in the problem-solving of relevant issues in transportation sciences.
