The doctoral programme in Logistics and Management of Transport Processes (L) focuses on advanced research and development of new approaches to the optimization of logistics and transport processes. This programme is designed for students who aspire to contribute to the development of effective and innovative solutions in logistics and transportation, and it prepares them for careers in academic research, industrial development and consulting.
The study includes simulation methods regardless of transport distances, from the shortest to the longest, and regardless of transport times, again from the shortest to the longest. The student is prepared for the consistent use of multicriteria optimization methods using AI tools. Similarly, research and development in AI is one of the major focuses of this degree.
The graduate will find employment in creative solutions to the problems of the status and functions of transport in logistics systems in scientific research departments and in university departments. The graduate will also find employment as a highly qualified consultant in the design and implementation of transport, shipping and logistics systems for consulting and design companies.
