The concept was created based on the client's assignment as a professional document formulating conclusions, rules, and recommendations for solving the parking issue in the city of Kladno. The document was prepared in the context of the rules and goals defined in the valid superior strategic documents of the city, especially based on a detailed analysis of the initial state and evaluation of relevant data, current professional knowledge in the field of urban mobility, transport planning and transport engineering, and the experience and professional opinion of the authors.
The city of Písek, as one of the first cities in the Czech Republic, created a specialized group of experts in the Smart City approach. These experts include representatives from the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU in Prague, who implemented Smart transport solutions through a systematic approach and integration of individual transport solutions.
The modern Competence Center Dětenice was ceremoniously opened in June by the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU, and the company AŽD. The specialized training facility, intended mainly for students of railway fields, was established on the experimental track Kopidlno – Dolní Bousov in the Hradec Králové region in less than twelve months, by revitalizing the original service warehouse within the Dětenice railway station.
