Abstract:
Categorization and description of telematic systems and services, split ITS system in subsystems, interface specification, steps in system analysis and design, role of standardisation.
Objectives:
Provide information about telematic systems currently in use in different areas with regards to their role in increasing traffic safety and provide information needed for the analysis and design of ITS systems. The absolvent will be able to describe an existing ITS so that it is undesrtandable by all levels of users (managers, SW developpers).
