Analysis of Traffic Accidents

Abstract:
Project deals with introduction to the problems of solving and complex analysis of accident process (decision-making process of traffic participants – subjective parameters, analysis of marks and damage – objective parameters), road and vehicles safety (damage and accident prevention, safety inspections) and other problems that are related to forensic practices (vehicle dynamics, crashtests and 3D modelling). Within the frame of project students make the one´s acquaintance with principles of data collection and processing (vehicle and crash dynamics measurement), with computerised method used for analysis of accident process and with 3D modelling (using 3D scanners or photogrammetry and processing of 3D data).
