Logistics in context

Abstract:
Student project “Logistics in context” is open for all students interested in logistics. Its goal is to relate logistics and modern logistics initiatives to current global development. To give a few examples: What consequence on logistics chains has the increase of production costs in China? What will be the impact on logistics of the upcoming trade agreement between the United States and the European Union? What are the challenges of trans-border transportation between Mexico and the United States of America? Students participating in the project will learn basics of scientific work that they will use not only later in their studies but also while working on their Bachelor thesis.
