This project associates the entire spectrum of the operational activities in the aviation. It is focused on the operations, which applied by ATOs, air work operators, air transport services providers and mainly air operators, into their operational strategies to achieve success in the highly competitive area of the civil aviation. Our goal is to apply modern technologies and innovative procedures to enhance the operations. Project air transport operations covers all aspects of civil aviation operations like: flight training, flight planning and procedures or environmental aspects. The project supervisors have wide spread of expertise to cover maximum of the research field. Special interest is given to following areas: aircraft maintenance, meteorological aspects and space technologies.
Here follow examples of the solved topics: Air crew licensing according to Part-FCL, Contrails influence on the Earth´s radiative balance, Monitored approach concept, Air rescue service in Czech Republic, ULD tracking optimization, Business jet operations and it meteorological aspects, Space weather, Aircraft leasing and many more. All student may full use all equipment of The air transport laboratory.
