Mathematical tools for modern aeronautics

Abstract:
The project „Mathematical tools for modern aeronautics“ aims at modelling and optimisation of aeronautical operation and processes with the tools of applied mathematics and simulations. Problems covered by this project include, example giving, modelling of aerospace capacity for drones, modelling of smart airports including virtual queuing, modelling of travellers‘ behaviour, and optimisation of the movement on airport surfaces. Another related topic falling into the scope of the project is simulation and optimisation of interferences of various radio technologies. The project is conceived as a connection of mathematical and statistical tools on one hand, and specific and systematic problems of aeronautics on the other one.
