In April 2026, for the first time, two leading conferences will join forces for a truly unique event. We are proud to host a joint conference that brings together the 25th NTCA (New Trends in Civil Aviation) and the 12th ESWC (European STAMP Workshop and Conference).
This landmark event, held in the heart of Europe, is organized by the Department of Air Transport at the Czech Technical University in Prague, with support from the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
Our mission is to create an unparalleled forum for innovation by merging NTCA’s rich history as a platform for general topics in civil aviation with ESWC’s focused expertise in the Systems-Theoretic Accident Model and Processes (STAMP). This synergy will bridge the gap between broad industry applications and cutting-edge safety methodologies.
The ESWC sessions will specifically explore safety and security as emergent properties in complex sociotechnical systems, moving beyond traditional event-chain models. The joint conference will cover a wide spectrum of topics, including:
Join us in Prague as we bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders from around the world. Together, we will exchange ideas, share practical experiences, and shape the future of safety and security in our increasingly complex world.
