Success of Our Students in the XXII. Edition of the Czech Transport Construction 2024 Competition – Student Category
A total of 27 bachelor’s and master’s theses were nominated for the student award, 10 of which were submitted by the Faculty of Transportation Sciences. We were pleased that, despite strong competition, two of our students succeeded.
The Dean’s Award of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences was presented to Bc. Petr Kugler for his bachelor’s thesis Bypass of the Municipality of Chodov, Relocation of Road II/222.
The Road Construction Association Award, as a partner of the student competition, was awarded to Ing. Tomáš Váňa for his master’s thesis Relocation of Road I/23 near the municipalities of Předín and Štěměchy.
The award ceremony for the Czech Transport Construction & Technology competition took place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in the Fanta Hall at Prague’s Main Railway Station.
The festive gala evening, which included the award presentations, was attended by Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, Mayor of Prague Bohuslav Sobotka, and other prominent representatives of major companies and technical universities.
