Our colleague Ing. Zdeněk Svatý, Ph.D. from the Institute of Forensic Expertise in Transport at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences actively participated in the international workshop of the European HORIZON project titled "Automatic Track Visual Inspection by Drones: Dissemination Workshop of IAM4RAIL – Europe’s Rail FP3, WP15".
As part of the research, the Institute of Forensic Expertise in Transport, in collaboration with the company AŽD, is working on automating railway track inspections using unmanned aerial vehicles to identify track surface defects.
