Starting at a new school and in a new environment can be challenging. That’s why senior students from the eFDrive club, with support from the Faculty of Transportation Sciences at CTU, organize the UZEL orientation course for incoming first-year students.
This year marked the 13th edition, held from September 18–21, 2025, at Masaryk Camp in Soběšín, where UZEL returned after ten years. In addition to meeting their classmates, students had the opportunity to connect with faculty staff—including lecturers—and even some industry professionals.
The entire orientation program revolved around a team competition in boat building, from which participants took home various transport-themed prizes, and most importantly, unforgettable experiences and new friendships to accompany them on their academic journey. First-year students can now symbolically set sail into a new chapter of their lives.
We hope that after four days of informal networking, starting your studies will feel more comfortable and filled with familiar faces. We wish all new students a successful 2025/2026 academic year.
