CTU Lions Team from the Faculty of Transportation Unveils a New Electric Motorcycle for the MotoStudent Competition

On October 8, 2025, we officially presented the new racing motorcycle with which our CTU Lions team will compete in the prestigious international MotoStudent competition. The ceremonial unveiling was attended by faculty representatives, sponsors, media, and other guests, who had the opportunity to see our motorcycle for the very first time and witness its official debut.

"Over the past year, we’ve made tremendous progress – in design, technology, and as a team. The new motorcycle is lighter, more powerful, and ready to stand up to international competition. I’m proud of the entire team and confident that we’re ready to show what we’re capable of," said Vojtěch Thums, leader of the CTU Lions team.

About the MotoStudent Competition:

  • Motor Power: up to 40 kW
  • Battery Capacity: 7 kWh (28 series-connected modules, each with 3 cells)
