Characteristic

A principal activity of the Testing Laboratory of Faculty of Transportation Sciences is to measure basic electrical quantities for type testing and testing of control and safety functions of electrical, electromechanical and electronic signalling devices:

• voltage
• current
• resistance
• frequency
• phase shift

In addition, the Testing Laboratory of Faculty of Transportation Sciences performs tests of the Eurobalise system.

The laboratory established a management system in accordance with the Czech technical standard ČSN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and it was accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute, o. p. s. under No. 1048.3.
