Characteristic
Within the framework of educational and research activities of the department the laboratory carries out measurements and experiments in the field of dynamics, legislation and aspects of safety and reliability of vehicles. The laboratory is focused on the following areas in particular:
- dynamic tests of vehicles (acceleration, deceleration, speed, stability, vibration, economic parameters, hygiene parameters, etc.)
- crash and deformation tests
- static tests (geometric and mass characteristics, visual inspection, etc.), simulation technologies by means of high-performance computers, ergonomics and hygiene
- transportation emissions
Preparation and implementation of the following crash tests:
- car x car
- car x obstacle
- motorcycle x car
- motorcycle x obstacle
