Roads and motorways network, transport output. Types of direction curves. Hairpin bend. Stopping sight distance and overtaking sight distance. Levels of traffic service. Structure of pavement of roads and motorways. Road engineering structures. Assessment of route alternatives.
Objectives:
Acquisition of deeper knowledge in the field of designing roads, motorways, crossroads and intersections considering complex design practice and environmental aspects.
