Point mass dynamics and system of point masses, equation of motion. Method of Newton. Princle of D'Alembert. Free and forced vibration with one degree of freedom. Viscous damping. Impact theory. Introduction to the solution of vibration with multiple degrees of freedom.
Kinematics of rigid body in plane and in space. Systems of governing equations, equation of motion, vibration of one degree of freedom. Solution of differential equations of free vibration without damping. Forced vibration with and without damping. Solution of selected problems.
