Abstract:
Introduction to railway signaling and transport, legislation and standards, principles of security and safety equipment category, basic structural elements, power supplies and power electronics, train protection systems, ETCS. Interoperability and security technology in the world, security technology in public transport, CBTC systems.
Objectives:
Students know the basic elements and principles of control and security of railway operations. Characterize the properties of rail traffic and have an idea of the infrastructure and train protection. They have the necessary skills for rail traffic control, including practical service of the equipment. Students know the power and electrical systems.
