Abstract:
Current ATM system and its functional blocks. View of ATM data (technical architecture and configuration, transmission systems and networks). Data exchange with neighboring ATM systems. Monitoring systems and technical supervision. ATM simulation. ATM conceptions and strategies for next years. EUROCONTROL - CFMU. FAB. ATS's - AOC's data applications.
Objectives:
To acquaint students with current systems used in ATM, the functional blocks (ATS, ATFCM, ASM), the technical configuration and architecture of the ATM system with transmission systems and networks. Students will learn the ATM concepts and strategies planned for the next few years and their impact on individual processes, technology and systems.
