Project Management during Transport Infrastructure Realization

Abstract:
Aim of the project is application of the project management principles during strategic transport infrastructure projects realization and financing. Strategic Transport Infrastructure Projects'' Realization is, from the view of the project management principles, a structured process, in which the roles and responsibilities of key participants have to be identified, the project''s phases and its schedule have to be set and the risk management has to be properly applied. The project management principles application in transport infrastructure projects, whether financed by the government, EU funds or PPPs, brings to the public sector an opportunity to improve its economy and efficiency.
