Simulation and Visualization in Transportation
- Abstract:
- Simulation and visualization data are widely used to design roads, plan traffic management measures and restrictions concerning traffic, major construction works or to evaluate alternative proposals. The project will enable students to get familiar with modern technologies for creating three-dimensional models from digital photos, digital terrain models and spatial models of measured objects. These can be used to visualize proposed designing or traffic engineering measures, to run simulation tests or develop scenarios for driving simulators.
