Researchers’ Night at FTS

On Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Faculty of Transportation Sciences will present itself to the general public as part of the nationwide event Researchers’ Night. Visitors of all ages can look forward to an interactive program at Horská 3 in Prague 2, as well as at our Děčín campus.

This year’s theme is “Wealth”, and visitors will experience firsthand how transportation plays a key role in achieving it. They’ll meet members of the CTU Lions student racing team and check out their powerful motorcycles. They can explore the Transport Hall, become an air traffic controller, fly on an A320 flight simulator, dive into the fascinating world of drones, or try driving a truck on a vehicle simulator.

Visitors will also become traffic accident experts, learn the basics of robot car programming in a playful way, and test their creativity in a transport-themed workshop. In the library, they’ll discover why information is the wealth of today’s society and why it’s important to know how to protect it.

Please note: The A320 flight simulator at Horská has limited capacity. Reservations will be made at the Info Point upon arrival, but access cannot be guaranteed for all interested visitors.

This rich program is prepared in cooperation with the PR department of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, our departments, the Institute of Forensic Expertise in Transport, and the Děčín campus. Admission and all activities are free of charge.
