Project National Hydrogen Mobility Center is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic within the National Competence Center Program. This project is funded under the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility
The center is being established as part of the implementation of the Hydrogen Strategy for a Climate-Neutral Europe and the Hydrogen Strategy of the Czech Republic, which reflects the goal of the European Green Deal – to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. The center aims at R&D&I collaboration of key actors in the Czech Republic – the state, research organizations, and businesses in the field of hydrogen technologies and is based on the principles of integral ecology. Strategic goals of the center: 1. R&D&I support for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in transport using hydrogen technologies and 2. support for the economic growth of the Czech Republic in connection with the introduction of hydrogen technologies into transport. The aim of the center is to support the acceleration of the implementation process of hydrogen technologies while minimizing the associated costs and supporting balanced production and consumption of hydrogen.
The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Transport Research Center and other partners. The project is being implemented from 1/2023 to 12/2028.
