Our goal is to build a competitive vehicle under the auspices of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences in the Shell Eco-marathon! The race team was established in June 2024, so it is an ideal opportunity for students who have not yet been involved in applied projects or who are interested in automotive, sustainable mobility, racing and even marketing. The team's goal is to participate in races for Europe and Africa in the 2025 season with a built prototype.
The Shell Eco-marathon competition focuses on fuel-efficient driving, i.e. the winner is the one who uses the least energy for the distance travelled. Teams with years of experience have been able to reduce vehicle consumption year on year, covering more than 1,900 km per litre of fuel or 1,000 km per kWh of electricity.
We are currently the only team in the Czech Republic that will participate in this competition, and our competition will be foreign teams, including colleagues from Slovakia, among whom we do not want to get lost.
We are currently looking for sponsors and there are still places available in the team, so don't be afraid to contact us:

We are a student racing team from the Faculty of Transportation Sciences of CTU, but we have members from all over CTU, especially the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering. We develop and build racing bikes for the Motostudent competition, currently electric, in the past also some combustion bikes. We compare our machines with competitors from all over the world.
The team was formed in 2015 and in October 2016 we raced our first race with our first petrol bike model in Aragon, Spain. In the following 2017/2018 season, we were one of the few to compete in both ELECTRIC and PETROL categories. With the electric motorcycle we placed 9th out of 27 electric motorcycles in the 2017/2018 season.
In July 2021, we successfully participated in the final Motostudent 2019/2021 event with our new CTU Lions EVO 2.0 Electric motorcycle, reaching 12th place among the 45 total teams present.
Our last achievements came from the final event Motostudent 2022/2023. In the partial evaluation, we were ranked 7th for the technical reports submitted, 8th for innovation, 8th for management plan and 5th for project presentation during the final event. In the competition, we came as high as 16th place (out of 43 teams) with our EVO 3.0 Electric. We therefore came 13th overall in the overall evaluation.
