The work deals with the way of computing the actual performance of surface heating and cooling in conjunction with specific air-conditioning outlets. Primarily in terms of increasing the efficiency of ceiling heating and cooling, if outlets that significantly increase the flow rate in a larger area (especially linear outlets) are installed in its close proximity. The research focuses on the prediction and calculation of a possible increase in the performance of ceiling heating and cooling in residential buildings in a low-energy standard, where the application of these elements as a primary heating and cooling system can be limited by the insufficient area of structures. The authors aim to create a method for calculating the actual performance of ceiling elements when applying ventilation outlets and then verify it in practice on real measurements in the laboratories of the UCEEB building, which provide suitable facilities for this kind of research. The results of the work will be published in professional journals and presented at conferences.

The aim of the project is to extend management systems "Intelligent House" to further subsystems of measurement, control and evaluation of these measurements to improve the quality of the indoor environment, based on current experience and prognosis by 2030. At the same time, the effectiveness of these results, which have a major impact on human health, its performance in the work process and in the relaxation phase, will also be considered. The expansion of the complex solution is based on the already functioning Intelligent House model, which was developed within the framework of the MPO project "Trvalá prosperita (Permanent Prosperity)" entitled "Reducing the Energy Efficiency of Buildings by Intelligent Control Systems" and which has already been successfully applied to hundreds of buildings of various types and areas. While in the first phase of the solution the economy of operation and management of energy sources was at the forefront, at this stage everything is focused not only on the economy of operation but also on the quality of the indoor environment. At the same time, the project will also include monitoring of new forms of energy, its accumulation and its flows (smart grid).

The main goal of the project is to design and build a small universal air handling unit. The unit will be able to customize a local indoor environment of one workplace (within an larger space offices) and increase a perceived environment quality. The unit will increase a quality of the air distributed to the breathing zone of the user and will be able to adjust a temperature of the surrounding environment. It will be based on previous research on personalized ventilation and convective boundary layers around human body, but in contrary to previous research, the unit won't be connected to a fresh air supply, which will make it usable for current objects with no need for alteration of the building ventilation system.

Proposed project is dealing with design of innovative air handling unit for local air treatment which is using thermoelectric modules. The aim of the project is to develop unit prototype including smart control module with measurement of indoor air quality and control algorithms taking available renewable energy into account. Using the support from the technical agency the project development will speed up and more personal capacities will be assigned to the development. The functional prototype will be developed within the project and will be introduced in the last year of the project 2023. Intellectual property will be also protected within the project.

The aim of the project is to measure the influence of different temperatures of a supply air for the personalized ventilation system on the human thermal comfort. The project uses a prototype of personalized ventilation with an adjustment of the supply air temperature based on the previous research. The results will be applied to optimize the adjustable range of personalized ventilation temperatures and determine the appropriate cooling and heating performance of the Micro Air-handling Unit.
