Annotation:
One element that enables quick and efficient construction of timber structures is their fittings. However its designing does not yet have sufficient support in the standards. The project aims to establish the basic procedures for designing metal works for timber structures and to determine not only the ultimate limit state, but also their serviceability limit state. The planned research will also monitor the change of the load bearing capacity of bolt, depending on the type, size and location of the punched steel plate fastener in assembly connection.
