Innovation of Transport Routes

The project is aimed at innovation of construction of transport routes, particularly the railway tracks of the mixed conventional railway system. The goal is to create a framework for Life Cycle Cost (LCC) reduction at simultaneous improvement of RAMS attributes - reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. The project involves thorough analysis of studied problems and use of computational models for stress and deformation analysis of road and railway transport routes. Both analytical models and experimental techniques are used together with advanced computational methods based on finite element analysis. Furthermore optimization of both the transportation routes'''' construction and associated devices according to perspective increase of transport speeds and axle loads are all within the scope of the project.
