The capacity of the railway infrastructure and its optimal use. Optimal routing of the railway lines in order to maximize the transport needs benefits. The segmentation of the public transportation with the focus on the railways. The diversification of individual kinds of the railway transportation according to their role in satisfying the needs of customers with the focus on the passenger transportation and taking account to the freight transportation. The theory of cutting the travel times of major transport flow down by diversification of transport points and strategy of the transport services in the points with a marginal passenger turnover. Analysis of combination of technical railway infrastructure parameters and traffic conception in different regions.
