The present project is aimed at transferring knowledge and approaches in current security issues based on the experience of the Czech Republic, the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance to tertiary education in Georgia. Specifically, the areas of the Civil Protection Mechanism within the European Union - humanitarian assistance and civil protection; civil society engagement (volunteering and NGOs) as an essential element of security at the community level; protection of soft targets and critical infrastructure protection; crisis management; cyber protection and provision of psychosocial assistance and cooperation in the aftermath of crises and disasters. The implementation of the above topics is proposed based on the demand of GEORGIAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, Faculty of Civil Engineering , where teaching is carried out with a focus on "Management, design and security in emergency situations" and the above topics are not addressed in the teaching. After mutual communication with the partner university, the topics were specified so that the topics meet the needs of the partner university and the topics also include the novelty and topicality of the solution in the Czech Republic. The established cooperation will bring both participants development in the field of scientific research, publishing and educational activities.
