The project aims to research and develop new tools, processes and software systems to support the integration and commercial operation of UAVs in the shared airspace. With the emergence of new legislation by EASA at pan-European level, it is necessary to adapt this framework to the Czech environment. Modelling and simulation methods will be used to determine the level of risks of UAV operation for other air traffic participants and for the non-involved unsheltered people and property on the ground in accordance to the JARUS SORA methodology. The models will be supplemented with the results of experiments with real UAVs to verify the level of reliability. Furthermore, impact analysis to determine the risk of injury to people on the ground will be also performed. The results will serve not only to the regulating authorities but also to the commercial operators, thus, the project will support the future development of the sector, in particular for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations.

The project focuses on the development of innovative method to detect, prove and eliminate crime-related activities within the road transport by utilization of modern equipment and latest development in measurements of dynamic characteristics. The proposed method is based on accident data retrieved from the on-board units of colliding vehicles and on its subsequent analysis. To verify the proposed method one hundred traffic accidents will be analyzed and 12 crash tests will be performed.
