Study at the Department of Air Transport offers education in the dynamically developing and very attractive sector of air transport, which ranks alongside aerospace among the top in the application of the latest findings of science and technology.
Our graduates have the opportunity to achieve a bachelor, engineer or doctorate degree at a prestigious and renowned university ranked among the oldest technical universities in Europe. Within the Bachelor's degree it is possible to study the following programmes: Engineering and Technology in Transport and Communications in the specialization Aviation (LED), Professional Pilot (PIL), and Aircraft Maintenance Technology (TUL). Within the Master's degree, it is possible to study the programme Air Transport Operations and Management (PL), while it is also possible to continue this specialization in the doctoral studies. In cooperation with our partners from the aviation industry, our graduates are comprehensively trained in accordance with current European standards and can obtain an ATPL transport pilot licence or a category B aircraft maintenance technician licence recognised throughout the EU.
The Faculty of Transportation Sciences and its component, the Department of Aviation, collaborates with many foreign universities in the field of aviation where students can accomplish part of their studies.
