Currently, the EU is facing an ageing population. The key task of EU Member States is therefore to ensure a sustainable pension system. One of the tools used for this sustainability is long-term savings in pension funds. In order for this tool to be functional, the pension fund must ensure the preservation of the value of savers' savings over the long-term savings horizon. Deposits in pension funds must be stored safely and be resistant to negative fluctuations in financial mar-kets. The article deals with the idea of interlinking Pension Funds with Public Private Partnership projects in the field of transport. This connection has the po-tential to bring Pension Funds the sought-after safe investment, which also has to overcome inflation in the long term. The use of accumulated capital of Pension Funds in public PPP projects, which can simultaneously bring a rejuvenating fi-nancial injection and increase the efficiency of competitive projects.

Software Kolator is a classic web application working with a relational database. It is the first software with a focus on the calculation of traffic costs, which is created primarily for the needs of the academic sphere. The aim of the software is to provide students with a simple tool for calculating the costs of road transport and haulage, and its task is to teach the users logical procedures for calculating cost tariffs (CZK/km, CZK/hour, CZK/person, CZK/personkm, CZK/time, CZK/timekm), i.e. the costs of the carriers related to the transport of goods or persons. Calculation of cost tariffs is made possible by a predefined calculation formula and a predefined amount of particular cost types that the user certainly can modify. Within the user account, the user can automatically calculate the cost rate after entering the data on planned transport output of the vehicle fleet. Subsequently, the user can define individual orders and the software determines the appropriate expenses.

Cost Index CESMAD BOHEMIA is monitoring system of costs development of Czech freight carriers. This Index is based on methodology of the Dutch company NEA and methodology of transport experts from Czech Technical University. Cost Index CESMAD BOHEMIA has a goal to give information about costs development on one kilometre for different relations in Europe and to describe general trend across the market of truck transport. The aim of this Index is to ensure that carriers and their customers are incorporated in a suitable version in their contracts and achieve the objective indexation of prices for transport. Therefore, this paper deals with construction of web application of Cost Index ČESMAD BOHEMIA, which carriers can use from beginning of this year.
