Annotation:
The project design is based on our own methodological approach to shared spaces and the prediction of places where shared spaces can be implemented. Based on the specific conditions of the characteristic locations identified in the analysis of the selected sites and the calculation of the shared space capacities, it will be determined whether shared spaces can be implemented in certain characteristic locations. In order to use the new procedure efficiently, a web-based database will be created to determine whether the sites have sufficient capacity and safety to create shared public space. This database will be based on site-specific parameters, such as street width, space capacity and inventory of all road users. The progress and results of the project will serve as the core basis for the petitioner's dissertation and also as the basis for the certified DOT methodology.

Annotation:
The goal of this project is to identify locations where multiple traffic accidents involving emergency services vehicles occurred. The identification of such high-risk locations in traffic infrastructure is nowadays very important especially considering the movement of emergency services vehicles, for whom the time of the arrival is crucial. According to available police statistics, there are a significant number of locations where traffic accidents involving emergency vehicle services occurred, especially in cities and towns. The purpose of this project is to describe specific traffic accidents and conduct a road safety inspection for specifying further arrangements and recommendations which will lead to decreasing the number of accidents involving emergency services vehicles.

Annotation:
The project deals with evaluation of the effectiveness of measures proposed by the road safety inspections from the point of view of traffic accidents and velocity choise in the selected road section and with the monitoring of the driver's behavior by passing by the hazardous fixed obstacle from the point of view of velocity choice (increasing / decreasing) in the selected road section.

Annotation:
“History of Road Traffic” (“Historie silniční dopravy) is a new course taught in Czech language included to the next summer semester into the offered party optional subjects/courses. This course will be open for all students of all master study programs and it will offer them the lectures about the history and development of road traffic, especially history of road building and road equipment. The lectures try to spread the students´ knowledge about historical relations to the present general traffic rules, vertical and horizontal traffic signs, road network, road constructions etc. The subject will concern also on history of road vehicles, road traffic lights, vehicle registration marks etc.

The further phase of the electronic language dictionary spreading: translation of special terms into German language and also about contain spreading of dictionary generally, at that time mostly about railway's engineering and construction of vehicles. According to possibility we would like to spread this electronic dictionary also about terms from further missing areas of transportation sciences in future (as for example marine or air transport is).
