With the current steady increase in road traffic, various solutions need to be found to improve the efficiency of the road network. Particularly in inner-city sections, the network is often at the limits of its capacity and various measures are therefore being sought. At present, the emphasis is on the number of vehicles per hour in a particular profile or on setting travel times. The number of people per unit of time is completely overlooked, which would contribute to rational planning of the street space mix. The aim of this project is to take this parameter into account as one of the aspects for the design of dedicated lanes.
