Annotation:

The project is focused on the study of telecommunication technologies and their use within modern ITS systems. One of the main technologies that we are dealing with in the project is C-ITS technology (communication between vehicles), but it is far from the only technology. Individual topics are based not only on the current state of the field in the Czech Republic, but also on forecasts of the development of modern telecommunications systems and technologies for the future. Individual tasks are embedded in the framework of the study of telematics and telecommunications projects within the framework of national and international research programs handled by the Faculty of Transport (e.g. C-ROADS, ELORYKS), as well as in connection with specific assignments from industry (e.g. Škoda Auto). Students have the opportunity to work closely with research and development workers from the non-academic sphere and to gain experience from working on real projects during their studies, including the possibility to implement a final thesis here. The project has at its disposal the capacities of the CertiLab laboratory, including its technological background, and it is possible to carry out final work with the available equipment, which is constantly being expanded. (4G and 5G network simulators, C-ITS units and simulators, IoT, 3D printing, RF measuring equipment and much more).

Annotation:

The project focuses on the use of intelligent transport systems as a tool for optimizing the transport of goods and realization of value-added services that enhance the quality of the production process and also the satisfaction of end customers, such as inspection and identification processes during transport and also design client applications that would facilitate monitoring shipments or process of filing for transport. The project is taught in cooperation with Czech Post.
