The recent overall increase in the populations mobility has created a greater demand for sustainable mobility, which is essential for the future development of cities. Given the increasing congestion in cities caused by the high number of cars, it is important to focus on public transport, which is a suitable and sustainable alternative to individual car transport. The aim of this project is the application and testing of the Quality of Public Transport Operation Method, which was first mentioned in 2017 and can become an important tool in the implementation of preferential measures and the overall improvement of public transport operation. The project will compare the quality of public transport operation on representative case studies in several Czech and foreign cities. This whole project is part of a broader scientific research activity at the Faculty of Transport of CTU within the PREFOS research group and its outputs are necessary for the PhD student's dissertation.

The goal of this project is to identify locations where multiple traffic accidents involving emergency services vehicles occurred. The identification of such high-risk locations in traffic infrastructure is nowadays very important especially considering the movement of emergency services vehicles, for whom the time of the arrival is crucial. According to available police statistics, there are a significant number of locations where traffic accidents involving emergency vehicle services occurred, especially in cities and towns. The purpose of this project is to describe specific traffic accidents and conduct a road safety inspection for specifying further arrangements and recommendations which will lead to decreasing the number of accidents involving emergency services vehicles.
